Where There’s Brass There’s Buttons!

Acclaimed artist, Louise-Ann Wilson, is creating a stunning installation at Lancaster Priory for Light Up Lancaster 2018.  Along with a team of volunteers she is planning to create 2000 red roses from paper napkins.  But she urgently needs 2,000 brass or metal buttons to complete her beautiful Remembrance art installation –  Returning, We Hear Larks.

Louise will lead three community make sessions on Saturday mornings at Lancaster Priory: 22 September, 13 October and  27 October 11.30am – 1.30pm.

Please donate as many brass or metal buttons as you can spare by raiding your drawers, sewing boxes and wardrobes.  A container for buttons is at the back of Lancaster Priory Church or simply contact installation organiser, Steph Edwards: concerts@lancasterpriory.org
