Another LEAP – Find out more
Another LEAP
By imitating the dog
A second chance to see imitating the dog’s projection work, LEAP. First commissioned by Lakes Alive, Kendal, in 2019, LEAP takes a joyful look at human communication and the science of the seemingly impossible.
Set against the backdrop of the first moon landing in 1969, in a series of phone calls across landscape and time, an animated patchwork of scenes unfolds, transforming the Judges Lodgings with stunning projection mapping and a lush soundscape.
Combining beautiful projection, inventive storytelling, uplifting original music and live singing, LEAP takes us on a journey across the sky, into the dark, into the night and into the future.
Since its first outing in Kendal, LEAP has also been shown in Lancaster ins 2021 (on the castle), in Wakefield in 2023.
Back in Lancaster by popular demand, we invite you to take Another LEAP into the unknown.
