Daydream – Find out more
Daydream
I love sitting in a place where I am threatened with boredom.
This is where my mind goes.
As art undoubtedly has the ability to expand boundaries, Daydream kaleidoscopic plane does transcend the visual brain’s logical understanding of space.
Where would the brain wander if sat in a pew too long, meditating, forced into the daydream state, the dreamlike scenes that interweave and connect, sometimes tenuous, sometimes blatant, eventually looping to leave you back in the room, real and now.
Daydreamer takes us on a journey through scenes connected through geometric laws juxtaposed with the randomness of nature, visual connections in scale between the giga and nano, accompanied by a synaesthesic sonic score which also echoes the geometric resonances of the actual architectural space the viewers share inside the priory.
